jon was educated and formed in the Jesuit tradition -- renowned for coupling critical thinking and decisive action -- and lived as a Jesuit for eight years. He attended Loyola University in New Orleans and earned degrees in psychology and philosophy from the Jesuit liberal arts college, Spring Hill, in Mobile, Alabama. His early career experience began in secondary education, marketing and fundraising. jon held professional positions with Southern Methodist University, Mercantile National Bank of Dallas, Communispond, Inc., and American Airlines. Through each of these roles, jon began developing his extensive repertoire in leadership development and organizational effectiveness. jon founded jmspartners, in Dallas, Texas, in 1988. Since then, he has influenced scores of leaders from well-known national and global organizations like American Express, McKesson, Wolters Kluwer Health, Honeywell, PETCO, Hewlett-Packard, TGI Friday’s, and Alstom Transport.
