I’m very fortunate to lead an experienced, dynamic and deeply committed team of fundraising managers. They’re the best professionals I’ve ever worked with, and team spirit and collegiality is quite high.

Yet, because ASU is a New American University rising to the challenges facing society and finding local solutions with global impact, we also have extremely ambitious goals at the ASU Foundation. We know that thorough our work securing resources for ASU, we power all of Arizona forward.

To meet these challenges, I asked jmspartners to take my team off site to really dig deep so we could identify and explore ways to improve our departments and ourselves. We had a lot of fun, but we also did some serious work. There were moments, both as individuals and collectively, when we excavated authentic insights about ourselves that gave us new opportunities to build on. In addition to seeing clearly the unique blend of skills we each possessed, we also identified ways we can adapt to be even more effective. As a result of our work with jmspartners, our team now functions on an even higher level.

Arizona State University serves more than 64,000 students in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona, the nation's fifth largest city. Students come from all fifty states and more than one hundred nations. The ASU Foundation is a separate, nonprofit organization that raises, invests and manages private funds to benefit Arizona State University. The foundation coordinates and directs all major fundraising campaigns on behalf of ASU and its colleges and schools and currently manages assets exceeding $756 million.
